Family passion

History of our enterprise is a story about passion shared by several generations and their respect for work and tradition of the craft. The story started in 1928...

Our tradition

In 1928 our grandfather, Basil Guła, started his unique adventure with gilding. After several years of education and apprenticeship he set up his own workshop, first in Lviv and then, together with his son, Ignacy, in Cracow. There they worked at decorating of various objects with precious materials as well as renovation

and manufacturing of classic frames. Our father, Ignacy, was well known for his extraordinary skills and unique attention to detail. In the workshop he was supported by his wife and our mother, Halinka. Although times have not always been favorable for our family profession, the tradition of the craft has survived and is still cultivated. Thanks to this, inhabitants of Cracow and all the persons seeking unique frames and creative solutions can visit our unusual showroom at 33, Miodowa Street.

New generation, continued passion.

Since 1992 the enterprise has been managed by Renata Guła Grabowska, her husband Richard and her brother Mariusz. In our everyday work we are guided by the same values that were adopted by Grandfather Basil: love for beauty and art, and respect for the mastery and precision in the craft. At the same time we care for

the changing needs of our customers. We regularly introduce the newest world trends in our works and expand our offer with items like imported materials, modern glass panes and various pass partout. Frames are always the most important element for our offer – to be used for framing pictures, mirrors or rare collectibles. We manufacture them in our workshops: starting with cutting and milling of profiles, processing it, plating it with gold and ending with patination and the finishing touches that give it the unique character. Thanks to this the walls of our customers’ homes are adorned with unique objects executed in a masterly way and radiating everlasting beauty.
